Please welcome this year's writers:

 

 

   Sheila O’Connor  (fiction)

v            Author of Where No Gods Came, winner of the Minnesota Book Award as well as the Michigan Award for Literary Fiction

v            Tokens of Grace was a finalist for the Minnesota Book Award and nominated for a Pushcart Prize

v            Has received the Outstanding Teaching and Service Award at Hamline University where she is an Assistant Professor in the Graduate Liberal Studies Program.

  Evelina Chao (nonfiction)

v            Author of Yeh Yeh’s House, finalist for the Minnesota Book of the Year in the memoir category.

v            Her first book, the novel Gates of Grace,  part character study and part mystery, earned critical acclaim nationwide.

v            Currently Assistant Principal Viola the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra

 

 

  

  Mark Vinz  (poetry)

v            Has received the Lake Region Arts Council Individual Artist Award as well as the Red River Heritage Society Award for Achievement in the Arts and Humanities. 

v            Retired Professor of English and co-director of the Tom McGrath Visiting Writers Series at Minnesota State University Moorhead.
